OmegaRouter, explained for beginners

OmegaRouter sends each AI request to the cheapest model that meets your quality bar, explains why, and skips failing models.

No AI background needed. Read this page (3 minutes), then try the four live demo tools, then the copy, paste, send page and the six-page seller's guide.

What it is

Companies now use several AI models: an expensive top model and cheaper ones that are good enough for many jobs. Sending everything to the top model wastes money; sending everything to the cheap one hurts quality.

OmegaRouter holds the list of models with their prices, quality scores and abilities. For each request you state what it needs ("can write code, quality at least 0.8, cheapest please") and it picks the model that fits, with the estimated cost and an ordered list of fallbacks. A model that keeps failing is taken out of rotation automatically (a circuit breaker) until it recovers.

An everyday comparison

A dispatcher who sends the small van for small parcels and the truck only when needed, and skips any vehicle that keeps breaking down.

How it works, in 4 steps

  1. Register your models with price, quality and abilities.
  2. Each request states what it needs and what to optimise (cost, speed or quality).
  3. OmegaRouter returns the chosen model, its estimated cost and fallbacks.
  4. Failing models are skipped automatically.
