EU AI Act / ISO 42001 Evidence Notary, explained for beginners
The Evidence Notary shows, clause by clause, which audit evidence you have and which you don't, signed and never claiming you comply.
What it is
Preparing for an AI audit means collecting evidence clause by clause, and it is easy to lose track of what is missing.
You submit hashes of your records per clause. You get a signed report showing which clauses have evidence and which have none. It does not judge the evidence; a human auditor does that.
An everyday comparison
An exam checklist that ticks what you handed in. It doesn't mark the work.
How it works, in 4 steps
- List the clauses.
- Submit a hash of each evidence record, per clause.
- Clauses with evidence are marked; the rest stay NOT_ASSESSED.
- The report is signed.
